Triplet state solvation dynamics: Basics and applications

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Solvation is the thermodynamically stabilized state of a system consisting of a solute and its surrounding solvent. The basics and applications of triplet state solvation dynamics are studied. Several applications are discussed: dynamical heterogeneity, rotational solute/solvent coupling, secondary relaxations in the glassy states, as well as confinement and interfacial effects.
