A generalized solution to mixed Bragg-Laue case in transmission LEED is reported, which is based on the transmission low energy electron diffraction theory. Images interpreted from point source electron microscope need a detailed analysis of transmission low energy electron diffraction. The connection of the diffraction theory to the band theory of low energy crystal electrons justified the validity of this theory.
