Abstract

The series ScO, YO, and LAO are prototypical examples of transition-metal-oxide bonded molecules. This paper discusses the work on LaO which resulted in the first complete set of dipole moment measurements for the X²Σ⁺, A²π_1/2, A²π_3/2 and B²Σ⁺ states for any of these monoxides.
