Abstract

The design and output radiation parameters for the Deep ultra-violet free electron laser (UVFEL) were discussed. The coherent output down to 100 nm was generated using High Gain Harmonic Generation (HGHG). The diagnostics system for FEL radiation was developed and tested. A model of the NISUS wiggler was investigated and trajectory control programs were developed. The results of FEL calculation and the status of the experiment were presented.
