The challenge for the Obama administration science team

The US president, Obama has assembled an administration science team comprising of the highly educated and technical personnel to ensure that the scientific enterprise will improve the environment, enhance the energy security, and to reduce global health risks. These newly elected national science policy leaders are conventional to encourage country's administration to make the necessary transitions from a campaign focused on countering political reference with the investment in S&T (Science and Technology). The team at NOAA, is starting several innovative programs as the Regional integrated Sciences and Assessment to fabricate research agendas that are relevant to the needs of decision makers. The nation's science policy leaders can lead the way by tying R&D funds to institutional innovations, whose success depends on the ability to break down the historical disconnect between science and policy.
