Abstract

Although substance abuse is less common among college students than their peers, it is still a major health and behavioral concern in this age group. Alcohol and marijuana are the most commonly abused drugs on college campuses. Drug use is a major contributing factor in poor academic performance and failure to successfully complete a college education.
