Abstract
This invention provides a method of anchoring hold-downs to an existing concrete foundation, and allows for the installation of hold-downs after a house or other light-frame construction building has been framed. This eliminates the necessity of casting hold-downs into the concrete slab, and the risk of their being installed in the wrong location. The anchorage system includes a smart device that provides a report and record that the anchor has been installed correctly. The anchorage system is economical to produce, simple to install, and easy to determine that it has been correctly installed.
