Abstract
The optimize traffic flow of Portland simulated movements of people between locations detected using scaling laws were discussed. The simulated movements of 1.6×106 individuals in a computer model were analyzed during a typical day in the city. The directed edges and connecting nodes of the graphs were weighted by the simulated movements of traffic in different locations. It was observed that the Portland network has strong linear correlation between the out-degree and total-out traffic distributions.
