Abstract
The behavior of thermodynamic properties of liquid water at atmospheric pressure and below homogeneous nucleation temperature was investigated. In this regard, the excess entropy measurement of the liquid over the crystal within relatively narrow limits was estimated. On inital cooling below the melting temperature the water appeared to be fragile, but near the glass transition region it was strong.
