Abstract
The role of resources in the planning domain is discussed, and the resource-based and casuality-based reasoning are effectively integrated for planning efficiency. A loosely-coupled planning approach called RealPlan is is developed, which uses casual-reasoning to generate an abstract plan. The abstract plan is then post-processed to allocate the required resources without altering the structure of the plan.
