Photocatalytic Abatement of Ambient Nitric Oxide and Nitrogen Dioxide by Titanium Dioxide Coated Solar Panels

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

Demonstrated successfully oxidation of NOx to NO3-Photocatalysts remained active over an extended time period Scale up estimation • Not suited for large scale removal (8.8 mg/m2/day on average) • Has a local benefit • Solar panel placement are often in areas of high NOx pollution (parking) • Could be effective in areas where NOx is determining for O3 concentration.
