Abstract

By means of a simple model, it was demonstrated that for large amounts of multivalent and monovalent salts added to the system, the redissolution transition is marked by the onset of reassociation of the multivalent salt ions on the bulk of the solvent. The phase diagram of the multispecies electrolyte system was constructed. Based on a simple phenomenological observations, a construction of the structure of the phase diagram, the location of the coexisting phases, and the slopes of tie-lines were completed.
