Abstract
The paper provides a performance analysis of a deterministic method proposed previously for blind identification of linear time-invariant channels, in the presence of additive noise, for block transmission systems using redundant precoding. The robustness of the blind estimation method is also analyzed in the presence of slow channel variations arising due to Doppler shifts or due to phase noise at the transmit/receive oscillators. The theoretical analysis is validated by simulations.
