A modification of a time-convolutionless equation of motion was presented for the reduced density matrix. A method to avoid the operator inversion typical for time-convolutionless approaches was also presented and an alternative set of equations was derived. The equation of motion for the memory dressing was solved in a way similar to diagrams in the Green's function formalism. The introduction of the memory dressing supplanted the need to invert one of the memory-containing operators present in time-convolutionless approaches, and yielded robustness to the approach.
