Abstract
The collimated states in open quantum dots correspond to highly focused meandering Bohm trajectories which link the square dot arena. It is shown that the presence of a magnetic field produces noticeable curvature in the trajectories due to the Lorentz force. A large portion of the flow topology and vortex formation can be understood from the underlying classical orbits and their crossing point topology.
