Abstract
Nursing is a growing profession that offers multiple graduate educational paths such as Masters, DNP, and PhD. These autobiographical narratives provide insight from our perspectives in the areas of advocacy, academia, and evidence-based innovation. We hope that our multicultural backgrounds and multidisciplinary perspectives can provide clarity about the journey, and reassure future scholars that perseverance, dedication, and passion are the key ingredients of a successful PhD degree.
