Abstract
Substantial advances have been made towards the goal of measuring, controlling and understanding electron transport through single molecules covalently wired to electrodes. Here I highlight recent experimental approaches and discuss measurements in solutions that allow one to study molecular binding processes and control the conductance of single redox molecules.
