Marcey and Oz: Can conceptual change occur through gendered interactions?

Barbara J. Guzzetti

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

None of the other vignette authors, and none of the other vignette analysts (and not even the publisher when the proposal for this book was submitted) have asked me why I chose to include a vignette so different from the others for this book. I can imagine, however, it might be an unspoken question that they, and perhaps you, the reader, may have. The answer to this question is tied to the theoretical framework that guided my 8-month naturalistic investigation of students’ conceptual change in physics, from which I extracted this vignette.
