Abstract
The linear stability of coextrusion of two viscoelastic fluids in a circular pipe is analyzed in the long wave limit. An interfacial instability due to elastic stratification is found. The effects of viscosity ratio, volume ratio and elasticity ratio on this elastic instability are also discussed.
