Abstract

Current approaches utilized to map antibody epitopes or protein interaction regions requre either a prior knowledge of the general region of interaction or the synthesis of hundreds of short linear peptides that compose the entire protein. This approach is available commercially by Pepscan Systems, B.V. This requires the production of a new peptide library for each antibody or protein analyzed. Our approach requires the synthesis of a single random peptides library for all antibodies and proteins, and as such can be scaled up for high throughput determination of multiple antibody eptiopes in a single experiment.
