Helping Children Cope with Stress

    Social work practitioners in schools are faced with helping children who are experiencing stress due to family, school, and peer-related problems. This article reviews relevant research on childhood stress. To teach children how to cope, the authors propose direct practice strategies for implementation in the classroom.
