Abstract

We have observed the decay B+ → D¯0 K+, using 3.3 × 106 BB¯ pairs collected with the CLEO II detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring. We find the ratio of branching fractions R ≡ B (B+ → D¯0 K+)/B (B+ → D¯0 π+) = 0.055 ± 0.014 ± 0.005.
