The frequency dependent dielectric relaxation of undoped cis/trans decahydro-naphthalene was measured in its viscous supercooled regime. Triplet state solvation experiments were performed near Tg=134.7 K to substantiate the exceptional steepness of this material, regarding the temperature dependence of the average structural relaxation time. A fragility or steepness index of m=147 was obtained, which was the highest value reported for a molecular gas former. Structural relaxation of neat decaline differed significantly from that of the 17.2 mol% chlorobenzene doped counterpart.
