Creative Push was founded in response to the current climate of judgment towards birth. Creative Push is a platform that presents a collection of recorded birth stories and visual artworks on the topic of birth. Audio birth stories and artworks can be viewed in a virtual exhibition on the Creative Push website: The recordings and artwork that make up the collection are presented through a digital archive, art exhibitions, community conversations and a podcast. The oral histories also serve as a research tool for organizations such as the Kinsey Institute in Indiana and Arizona State University Institute of Humanities Research. Creative Push is an ongoing project, continually seeking storytellers and artists. In addition to the website, the audio recordings are housed as an oral history archive in the ASU Digital Library, where the full-unedited interviews are available for download.
