Abstract

Working hand-in-hand with physicians, aircraft manufacturs, automotive engineers and other disciplines, biomedical engineers provide unique contributions to human health and well-being as well as advancing research modalties. A biomedical engineer can become involved with the development, design or manufacturing of highly specialized equipment in a wide variety of applications.
