Abstract
An emulsion has been used to discourage crystallization and permit the observation of a glass transition in molecular liquids such as chlorobenzene which were not previously thought to be glass forming. Glass-forming abilities in such marginal cases appear to be correlated by an extension of the Cohen-Turnbull TB/Tm > 2 rule. Transparent, repeatedly vitrefiable, microemulsions have also been made.
