Community-Driven Archives: Digital Preservation Workshop Community-Driven Archives: Digital Preservation Workshop The goal of this project is to design and pilot a Digital Preservation Workshop that educates and empowers individuals who have been historically underserved and excluded from Arizona archives and memory. Funds will be used to hire staff (Project Archivist and Project Assistant) for a year and purchase equipment (external hard drives) that will be given to participants in an Archive Starter Kit. Community members will benefit because they will learn digital skills and how to appraise, arrange, describe, and preserve their digital archives.
