N2 - So what is the message? We need better decision makers and we ourselves need to be better decision-makers. We will become more confident that we are doing the right things for students with EBD as we make sound decisions at every step of decision-making. As I have assumed various roles during my professional career, a teacher, researcher, teacher educator, professor, I have reminded myself that my work goes beyond me and that my decisions today will affect lives tomorrow. Emergency decision-making affects long-term outcomes. I need to continue to ask relevant questions to remember my commitment to children with EBD and their families to improve the quality of their lives.
