Abstract
Investigates aspects of the recent resurgence of population growth and in-migration in non-metropolitan areas. Broadly, economic variables provided the best explanations of variations in net migration rates. However, it is not possible to say whether migration responded to locational shifts in opportunities, or whether the reversal of migration patterns provided the basis for changes in economic growth. -P.J.Shoebridge
