An examination of hazardous waste sites in Colorado shows that the distribution is typically close to population centres, and that residents are unconcerned by this proximity. Examines recent proposals to develop a high level nuclear waste repository in the western states, and how the transportation of these materials will affect Colorado.-after Authors
