Abstract
Adults who are in relatively good health and who wish to integrate mindfulness practices as part of their everyday life. Being in a barefoot state while hiking a trail may pose some risk to an individual if he or she is not paying very careful attention to each step. In addition, this practice may be impractical in certain seasons, terrains and inclement weather. Clinicians and clients must exercise prudence and foresight when using this technique.
