Abstract
Here we report a DNA tile directed self-assembly of signaling aptamers into high-density nanoarrays for highly sensitive detection of protein molecules. The high local density of the signaling aptamers displayed on the self-assembled DNA arrays allowed us to detect sub-nanomolar concentrations of protein bound to the aptamers using confocal fluorescence microscope imaging. This water-soluble aptamer microarray provides a novel strategy for developing programmable sensor arrays.
