Abstract

The command and control of a military air campaign involve different processes: planning & scheduling, monitoring & assessment, and re-planning. The monitoring & assessment process updates the current situation of the air campaign and detects changes against the campaign plan. This process provides appropriate feedback to the campaign commander for deciding whether replanning is necessary. This paper presents two techniques for the monitoring and assessment of an air campaign plan.
