Abstract
A new class of one-step methods for the numerical solution of neutral functional differential equations is considered. These methods can be taken to have arbitrarily high order. This should be compared with other one-step methods, such as those of Tavernini, for which the obvious modifications to neutral functional differential equations leads only to methods of order one.
