Abstract

A magnetically and electrically tunable semiconductor quantum waveguide inverter was investigated. In this device the output of the waveguide structure may be selected via the application of an appropriate magnetic or electrical bias. The resulting behavior shows tremendous promise for an eventual semiconductor realization of the basic qubit structure.
