Abstract

This chapter ventures into "uncharted territory," by discussing how the various forces in the field of CDS may evolve, and some of the requirements that will need to be met to achieve true broad adoption of CDS. The author poses a possible unifying framework for that evolution in hopes of stimulating discussion and action and that the suggestions contained herein will be helpful to readers engaged in this field in accomplishing the goal of broad dissemination and wide use of high quality CDS.
