Abstract
Natural occurrences and available experimental data were used to construct a P-T diagram for phases in the LiAlSiO4-SiO2 system. The stability relations of eucryptite, spodumene, beta -spodumene, petalite and quartz are discussed. Cell dimensions, molar volume and thermochemical data are tabulated.-K.A.R.
