Josephson effect without superconductivity: realization in quantum Hall bilayers

Abstract

Josephson effects without bulk superconductivity were observed in a bilayer quantum Hall ferromagnet. The information obtained can be used as basis in exploring a vast variety of other Josephson phenomena.
