Abstract
Two individual difference characteristics, need for cognition and argumentativeness, are investigated to determine their impact on persuasive message processing and attitudebehavior relations. Results indicate that although these characteristics moderate message perception and the relationship between attitudes and behavioral intentions they did not significantly influence message processing.
