Abstract
Ignition limits of jet-A fuel vapor, as a function of the fuel loading using conventional electrical sparks was reported. Relevant ignition mechanisms for accidental ignition events, involving electrical contact sparks, were also presented and their capability to ignite fuel air mixtures at very low voltage was demonstrated.
