Abstract
The critical challenge to the successful implementation of 'perfect lens' and 'optical cloaking' is to achieve isotropic negative index metamaterials. Here we experimentally demonstrate isotropic negative index metamaterials at optical frequency by proper design and scalable self-assembly.
