Abstract
This chapter discusses the current structure of SE university programs in the United States. Using a data-driven approach, a natural language processing (NLP) analysis distills the major topics and themes that shape educational curricula. Discussion compares the current curriculum to future directions of SE to synthesize opportunities for evolution of university programs. Conclusions outline the ongoing role of university programs in SE education.
