Ethics in Technology for Clinical Psychology

Abstract

There is a growing interest in the use of novel technologies in clinical psychology. While there are increasing discussions of potential technological enhancements for clinical psychology, less emphasis has been placed upon the ethical challenges that may ensue from widespread use of these technologies for clinical psychology. This chapter aims to offer an attempt at discussing some of the ethical issues inherent in technologically enhanced clinical psychology research and praxes.
