Abstract

Emotion regulation is a major topic of study in developmental psychology and related disciplines or subdisciplines. Its dominance is reflected in the number of books and monographs that have been published about emotion regulation since the mid-1990s (e.g., Baumeister and Vohs, 2004; Fox, 1994; Philippot and Feldman, 2004).
