Abstract

Intramolecular electron transfer reactions are considered with regard to conformational transitions in a molecule containing a donor and an acceptor. It is shown that the free energy of activation contains, besides the activation enthalpy, a temperature-dependent entropic term ΔS=a₁+a₂T.
