Abstract

A study was performed on the dynamics of the π^-p→ π⁰π⁰n reaction for p_π ^-<750 MeV/c. The systematic of the study and multipole analyses were examined for sensitivity to a f₀(600)('σ')meson. A one-pion-exchange mechanism was found to be very weak, or absent.
