Abstract
The National Science Foundation's project for incorporation Design, Engineering and Technolological (DET) concepts in engineering education program is discussed. The project involved preparation of pre-service and in-dervice teachers to understand and incorporate the concepts into science and mathematics curricula to meet the science and technological standards. The program helps the teachers to better engage their students through project-based learning. The education program is aimed at enhancing the scientific and technological literacy of all students.
