Abstract

Social networking is gaining high value in today's society. This paper describes an application that defines the technical foundation to build a system that serves as a social networking environment to create and share location based stories. It demonstrates the integration of a social networking website with mapping capabilities using a highly rated Geographic Information System. This system is completely cloud based with the implementation of the necessary security measures.
