A viable weak interaction axion?

Abstract

We demonstrate that a specific value of ratio of Higgs expectation values in variant weak interaction axion models can lead to an axion whose isoscalar and isovector couplings vanish to lowest order in chiral perturbation theory. Such an axion may still be viable.
