Abstract
An atmospheric dispersion model was developed to estimate the spatial patterns in the concentrations of odors emanating from a wastewater plant in Lincoln, Nebr. Model outputs included a series of maps displaying odor concentrations under given meteorological conditions and the frequency of odor days for seasonal or annual time periods. The implications of the results are discussed, and suggestions for further research are presented.
